There are two Toolbars: One, located below the Main Menu is used for one click commands. The second toolbar is located along the left side has "window" icons for quick access to lists and forms.
The "window" toolbar has icons (or buttons) which have words to describe which view they will displayed if clicked. The following are the top row of icons in order from left to right.
Open This will open an existing bid
Save This icon will save the current bid
Print Use this icon to "Quick Print" the current bid.
Insert This will insert a line (record) in the list where the cursor is located
Delete This will delete a line (record) in the list where the cursor is located
Move row up
Move row down
Memo This will open the Memo Window so you can enter a note on the record where the cursor is located.
Calculator Use this icon to display the calculator
Sort This icon will sort in ascending order the current list depending on which column the cursor is in.
Cross Reference This feature allows you to see all Items which make up a line on a summary List.
Find Use this icon to search the current list depending on which column the cursor is in.
Find Next This will go to the next record that matches the search criteria.
Show only zero totals
Show All When you performed a "Show only" command for tags or finds, you only see the records that match. Use this Icon to return to the complete list.
Show Tags This icon will display all the tagged records only. Use the Show All above to see the complete list.
Tag All Use this icon to tag all the records in the current view.
Untag This will untie all records in the current view.
The List and Use Icons below are the most helpful
Detail/Form Show/Edit details of current record in a form.
List In any CODE column (wherever you can enter a code to "Look up" another list of choices to enter), this icon will display that list. When you have highlighted the one you want, then click on the "Use" Icon to transfer the code back to the previous view.
Use This icon will "pullback or transfer" the tagged Price Book Items to the Bid Item List. It also transfers a highlighted code from one view to another after you used the List command.
Note : The system has been designed so when you JUST press the right mouse button or the HELP key F1, you will be able to access over 50 percent of the system's power.
Important Note : If you want to leave the Price Book Item List’s view opened as you "Use" items, then click on the Bid Item List instead of using "Use". You will be asked if you want to "Use" the items in your bid.
The second toolbar is the "Side View Bar" which will allow you to access lists and forms in the system quickly.
NOTE - Click once to open the any view, click a second time to close the view (this is the only place this works like this).
