Lesson 9: Using the Sort Tool

 

 

 

The Sort tool can help you organize the Items on your Bid in a variety of different ways. For example, let us assume that you want to see the most expensive Bid Items. To make the Bid a little easier to follow, let’s sort the Items listed in order of total cost.

 

Note: To preserve your original sort order click on the Reports Menu and click on Set Reporting Order before you do a sort. To return to the original sort order click on the Tools Menu and click on Sort and click on Report Order.

 

Click anywhere in the Total Cost Column and click the right mouse button.

 

Click on Sort by Total Cost. All of the costs will be sorted from the smallest to the largest. You can also sort in almost any column on any view.
