Sorting on various columns is an excellent way of displaying your information. It may also be used to quickly tag some records (lines) for costing or quantity changes. Before sorting a column on the Bid Item List, you might want to save the bid first so you can recall the previous sorted order. Or you can move to the Bid Item Sequence order column, put a sequence number into each item so you can re-sort in the Bid Item Sequence order after sorting another column.
Sort columns by moving to the column to sort and pressing the Help key F1 or pressing the Sort Ctrl+T key.
Current Field - Low to High
Sort the column in ascending order.
Current Field - High to Low
Sort the column in descending order.

Bid Item Code Sequence will sort all Items in your Bid by the Bid Item Sequence order Number and place them back in the order of entry.
You can also sort the current column in low-to-high order by pressing the sort button ( ) on the Toolbar.
Location/Item Sort
Sorts all Items in the Bid, by Location, then within Locations by Item Code.
