International Settings

EasyEst Estimating automatically adapts to the "local customs" of your country, based on the Windows International Control Panel.

The Windows International settings used include:

Numeric format (thousands separator and decimal)

 Short Date Format (e.g., MM/DD/YY, YY.MM.DD, DD-MM-YY)

Time Format (12- or 24-hour, etc.)

Make sure these settings in Windows are correct for your country. You must re-start EasyEst Estimating for the new settings to take effect.

You may use standard Windows character-set accented and other special characters in your descriptions and units. Special characters may not sort according to national customs, though.

The system fully supports use of either Metric units or English unit (or both) for your Items.
