The Save Item to Price Book feature, available from the Bid Menu or by pressing the Ctrl+D key, copies current Bid Item or Item Selection Worksheet Item to the Price Book Items, replacing any existing Item with the same Code (or, if the Code is blank, one with no Code and the same Description).
This is an easier way to save one Bid Item to the Price Book than using Update Items to/from Price Book, and also works from the Item Selection Worksheet as well as the Bid Item List and Form.
