The Open Bid dialog allows you to open and work with an existing Bid from any Price Book.
To Open an Existing Bid:
1. Select Open Existing Bid... from the File menu to get to the Open Bid dialog box.
2. If the existing Bid is in a Price Book other than the current one shown, then click on the arrow box and select a different one.
3. Either type in the Code for the Bid you want to open in the Bid Code field and press the OK button, or double-click on the Bid you want to open in the list of Bids. When typing the Bid Code, it does not matter if you use capital or small letters.
You may also create a new, empty Bid by pressing the New button in this dialog box. It will create an untitled empty Bid, not based on any Bid Template. For a more versatile new Bid, use the New Bid Dialog Box.
You may also open a Bid by going to the Bid List, moving to the Bid you want to open, and pressing the Use F8 button.
