Exit off the File Menu allows you to leave the estimating system. If you say yes, then it will ask you if you want to save the current bid if you made changes. (Note if you are using the starter/demo version of this product, you will not be able to save your data. In order for this to be demonstration version, the Save and the Print functions have been disabled.)
If you have saved several times and not done House-Cleaning (available off the File | Transfer menu), you will be asked if you want to do House-Cleaning to re-claim disk space.
You may also be asked if you want to back up your work for safe keeping. The Backup feature (also available from the File | Transfer menu) provides a convenient way to store your Bids and Price Book(s) on floppy disks. (You may turn off this question, and the House-Cleaning question, from the Options/Preferences dialog box, available from the Tools menu.)
