The Bid Information Form is a nice place to keep your information about a Bid organized. You may choose to use some, all, or none of the fields, depending on your needs. The headings are self-explanatory.
To get to the Bid Information Form, you may either select Bid Information Form from either the Bid or File menu, or press the Details (F9) key on the Bid List.
You may also change the Bid Memo, which may be reported at the top of the first page of Bid Reports.
If you want to see the cost and price of a Bid per unit of area (normally square foot, but can be used for square yard, square meters, or acres), enter the area in the Area field, and the Cost per Square Foot ("Cost/SqFt") and Price per Square Foot ("Price/SqFt") will be displayed.
The Bid Cost and Price cannot be changed here since they are calculated in the Bid and are just reported here. You may, however, change the Bid Square Footage.
The Start Date, Finish Date, and Target Date fields are used for scheduling. When a Bid is saved, it’s scheduling dates are also saved and shown here. When changed here, they are also changed in the Scheduling Information dialog box. Changing the dates here does not effect the scheduling of individual Activities. Use the Scheduling Information dialog box.
