General List Information

 

 

 

A "List" is the term we use for a columnar list of records in a window. Lists may be moved by dragging the title bar or placed on top of each another. They are like pages of information only much more flexible. Information in a List can be changed, Found or Searched, or Sorted in various ways. Lists are like printed forms or pages of information only much better. Information in a List can be altered in various ways to accommodate your different needs.

 

 

If you have stacked several Lists on the screen, you may want to go back to a List in the stack. Simply click the left mouse button on the List, use the "Window" menu command or click on the List in the left view bar. You can also exit out of the Lists, one at a time by pressing the ESC key.

 

 

Bid Item Lists Bid Lists include the Bid Item List, , and Question values which are in a bid. When you save a bid, the information in these Lists are saved to the bid.

 

Price Book Lists A Price Book has master information on Items, Divisions, and Subdivisions, Budgets, etc.

 

A total amount for the Bid is displayed on the screen’s bottom status bar. A "Shown " total means it is not the Bid Total but a total of all the items tagged or found.

 

Important Note

If you want to save a Bid Item to your master Price Book, just press the save Price Book key Ctrl+D when you are on that Bid Item . Or, to save many items to your Price Book, tag the items and select Tools Menu/Tag Menu/Put Tagged Bid Items in Price Book.
